On April 14, 2025, Kenangan Coffee officially launched its first store in Australia at Westfield Sydney, marking a major milestone in the brand’s international journey. The launch also celebrated the company’s 1,000th store worldwide, with its newest Indo
This Sydney outlet is part of Little Indo Town, a curated space highlighting Indonesian culinary brands such as Bintang Bro and Sweet Republic. Staying true to its roots, Kenangan Coffee features its best-selling Kenangan Latte, made with rich palm sugar, while also offering flavours adjusted for Australian preferences.
Kenangan Coffee’s Co-Founder and Group CEO, Edward Tirtanata, shared that the brand’s mission is to introduce authentic Indonesian coffee to more global markets, with Australia being a key part of that expansion. Plans are already underway for a second location in Melbourne by the end of 2025.
This move is part of the brand’s larger vision to scale to 2,500 stores globally by 2028, with at least 500 of those located outside Indonesia.
